Cookie Control updated for IAB TCF V2.4!

Dear Cookie Control users,

The latest version of Cookie Control Premium and Cookie Control v9.12 are now live.

We have updated our implementation of the Transparency and Consent Framework to align with the IAB TCF v2.4(opens in a new window) changes, which introduced support for the StandardTexts field. This presents introductory text for the Features list, along with additional explanations and examples illustrating how each feature is used.

These updates will be automatically received when using Cookie Control Premium and v9.x.

If you load a specific version of Cookie Control v9 on your site and run Cookie Control as an IAB approved CMP, you will need to manually update to v9.12 in order to comply with TCF v2.4. No action is needed if you run Cookie Control v9 with optional cookie categories instead.

Customers using the WP plugin or the Drupal module will receive the updates of the new version automatically ahead of the IAB TCF v2.4 deadline (23 October 2026).
