The Microsoft Clarity integration loads the Clarity script and manages consent for session recording and heatmaps. It sets ad_storage and analytics_storage to denied by default, then updates them via the Clarity ConsentV2 API when visitors accept or revoke a category:

For visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Microsoft Clarity enables Consent Mode automatically — no additional Clarity configuration is needed. For visitors from other regions, you can optionally prevent Clarity from setting cookies before consent by going to Settings → Setup in your Clarity project and turning Cookies off.

Enable Microsoft Clarity from the Integrations tab in your dashboard. You will be prompted for your Clarity Project ID, an alphanumeric ID found under Settings → Setup in your Microsoft Clarity project.

The integration manages the cookies _clck, _clsk, MUID, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, and SM, and blocks scripts from clarity.ms until consent is given.
